Quarter Mile Mark

Well, hello again. So weird to be posting from the US of A and not the Dominican Republic. I have now been here two weeks and will be returning to Santo Domingo in a week. I spent my first week fundraising and talking to lots of people about what God is doing in Bayona. My next week I spent visiting with my family (sister, parents, cousins, aunts and uncles) and now I am back to work again. Its been a great last few weeks and I am looking forward to enjoying my last week as I tell people about all the wonderful things that God is doing!

Just want to thank God for the awesome opportunity that I had sharing at H2O, my campus church last Sunday -- talking to almost 300 college students about the transformation that has taken place in my life because of missions. Several students approached me afterwards to talk about the calling they feel in their life to missions as well -- what a blessing!

That night I also spoke with about 10 mature Christian couples from my parents church that I respect immensely. I shared for about 45 minutes my journey to the DR, what God is doing in and through me and what I've learned from it. They prayed for me and encouraged me in the work that I am doing. I am so blessed to have such amazing people in my life!

In addition, I have been able to talk to many young people in and just out of college who are seeking direction for their lives. God has raised up a bright and motivated generation looking to serve wherever they are needed. I am so proud of the things that my generation is doing, the kindness, compassion and love that they are showing to all the world. God is good!

I have around 25% in pledges and continue to speak with people about joining my support team. If you would like to contact me about support, please email me at bianco.13@osu.edu or contact me on facebook.

Blessings,
Anna
